D&AD Award for Faber & Faber

Two D&AD Yellow Pencils: 

First Prize for Typography and 

International Student of the year 2009.

The Faber & Faber brief required the use of typography to create cover designs for books to be reproduced using 'Print on Demand' and display well in bookshops. Response: The 'Faber & Faber Film List' is the concept for the cover design. A digital scroll similar to iphone technology combines with a coloured highlighter bar. The bar colour indicates category. The moving list creates a new cover with each selected title and reinforces the 'Faber Film List' archive offline.
